Portrait of Royce Ladner, founding partner

Royce Ladner

Founding partner · Gulfport

Royce spent his first years in practice defending insurance companies. He opened the Gulfport office to do the opposite.

He grew up in Pass Christian and saw the coast rebuilt twice before he finished law school. Today he handles wind and flood disputes on the Mississippi coast and the firm's largest business-interruption claims.

He still reads every new policy himself, start to finish, before the first call to the insurer.

How Royce works

He starts with the policy, not the damage. Most of the claims he wins turn on a page the adjuster didn't read.

He tells clients early when a claim is worth less than they hoped, and when it's worth more than the insurer offered.
